Step 3: How to create project data step by step
In the
previous section, we created master data. When working with projects and
controlling material flows with Siqnal, there are two methods to bind bills of
materials to reservations and purchases. When working with projects over a
longer period of time, it becomes clear that both methods are required in real
life.
With method
1, bills of materials are the foundation of purchases or stock reservations.

With method
2, it is the other way around. Purchases and reservation of articles are done

In most
cases, a completed project will have a surplus of articles. These can be
reverted back to the stock with a few mouse-clicks, which will make them
available in the regular company stock.
